As you traverse the last stretch leading up to Castle Mitternacht, you come across a ruined temple to Joleph. You explore it, hoping for some clue as to what might have happened here.

In the middle of the night, your entire party is roused by the distant din of battle. One of you stays behind to watch your sturdy pack mule Rudolpho; the rest of you take up your new silver weapons, mount your horses, and gallop toward the commotion.

In the morning, you follow Captain Teadora along the river path to Svitlana’s camp. Unlike Teadora’s town, where humans, dwarves, and elves toiled side by side to secure the perimeter, Svitlana’s camp seems to be composed only of elves with silver skin.
